Deze website heeft Japanse informatie - waarom? NoQuatsch is opgezet toen Ellis in Japan werkte aan het toneelstuk ‘Kaikin’. Daar werden toen ook workshops aangeboden. Omdat de Japanse taal zo leuk staat en we hebben zulke goeie herinneringen aan de tijd in Japan, laten we het gewoon staan. Maar NoQuatsch is weer helemaal werkzaam in Nederland!

NoQuatsch© is set up by Ellis Van Maarseveen, a successful actress and acting coach with a prolific and extensive volume of work in performing for theatre, film and television, and directing theatre in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Ellis holds a Masters degree in applied Theatre Studies for which she received the G. J. Borny Award 2014 'For exceptional ability in the areas of scholarship, research and production, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the School of Arts, University of New England, Armidale, NSW, AU.'

“Making it together” means we listen to you. When you contact NoQuatsch for workshops, to book Ellis for acting work, voice overs, or directing your production, we talk, we communicate, and we collaborate so we get the best result to suit your needs.

Workshops are given in English or Dutch.

We like nonsense.

A professional approach to work has no time or space for nonsense. But when we look at the artistic approach, we need to open up to all possibilities, be flexible, have ideas that work and those that don’t (and know the difference between these), and we want a working-relationship to have a sense of humour.
